6/23 Sunday Salon: Plants that Thrive (and Stay Alive) in Zone 5

Goodbye Zone 4b... Hello, Zone 5a! Join a panel of Tangletown Gardens' horticulturists and plant experts in a discussion about what plants they are anticipating seeing more of in the Twin Cities now that our hardiness zone has changed. We have been experimenting with Zone 5 plants for years, and now that the change is official, we are excited to share what we've learned and observed. Topics will include options for new Zone 5 varieties to try, old favorites that have worked well for years, tips and tricks for pushing cold hardiness, and what to expect in the future. We will be inviting our amazing gardening community to participate in this open discussion. Let us know what you are looking forward to growing and what has worked for you!

Tickets: Purchase a ticket for $10 to reserve your seat, and we'll provide you with $10 in "Tangletown Bucks" to spend at Tangletown Gardens after the salon. Space is limited, one ticket per attendee, please. Beverages will be available for purchase during the event.

Spend the day at 54th and Nicollet! We recommend arriving early and enjoying brunch at Wise Acre before the salon. Kitchen is open until 3:00pm. Or browse the beauty of Tangletown Gardens, which is open until 6pm.
